Used Hyundai Trajet

With its huge size, you can certainly expect huge value from the Hyundai Trajet as well. But what is really surprising – and this is quite the pleasant surprise – is that the Trajet is actually cheaper than the cheapest Ford Galaxy model in the Markey by almost £3,000, and this is in spite the fact that it has just about all features you can expect from any MPV! This spells great value for your money! The Trajet’s 2.0 petrol engine does very well when you take it around the town for it is very refined all on its own. It may be a bit noisy upon reaching high speed, but that rich rumble could be a welcome sound as well. The 2.7 V6, on the other hand, is faster and smoother than the 2.0 petrol. The major downside here though is that it consumes a lot of fuel. You would certainly be better off with the 2.0 TD. Despite being old-school diesel, this engine is capable of giving more than adequate performance. It just takes a while for the engine to reach its top speed. Potholed roads can cause the used Hyundai Trajet to become very bouncy, especially when you are driving at high speed. Steering has also been noticed to lack feedback because it just is not precise enough. Changing gears can be a bit difficult while bodyroll is evident, even if you take your corners as gently as possible. The Trajet does not offer much comfort though because its cabin can be noisy at high speed. Noises from the road, the wind, and the engine just become too loud on the freeway. The Trajet’s seats do not give that much support as well so it really is not the ideal car to use when taking long road trips. The good thing is all five rear seats are removable to create more space for luggage. The removal process can be a bit complicated and daunting, but your trouble will be worth it when the Trajet becomes spacious enough for all your cargo. Equipment-wise, you get a lot of metal for your money. Electric windows, roof rails, and air conditioning are present across all models and trims. The 2.7 V6 comes with a few extras – alloy wheels, cruise control, an electric sunroof, and leather upholstery. Another optional feature is its impressive Sat-nav system. The Trajet has not really been subjected to crash tests yet but it conveniently comes with dual front airbags, side airbags, ABS, and remote central locking. Sadly, it does not offer an alarm system, and this is one of the major drawbacks observed by critics about the Trajet.
